Hi Steve,

i would like to change manually the used position for the special defensive stat category like OA, DP or CS%.

It happens that you change defensive postion - often a strong arm could be CF/RF or C or an SS could become a nice CF or vice versa.

Problem is you cant see positional stats until it is the main position. Maybe you want to see what he had archieved earlier with his old position or what he has already archieved on his new (learning) position.

So what a want is a button to choose the showed defensive position-stats.

Okay, I understand what you mean.

I’m trying to think of what the best approach to this issue is…it’s not just those particular defensive statistics. It’s also a number of other statistics that have been requested. I’m wondering if we just need an extended statistics table on the player page.

The other thing I’m considering is expanding the width of the site pages. Over the last two years, people have adopted larger monitors and resolutions, so from that stand point we can probably grow accordingly.

The other trend is that people are using more smart phones and tablets, but I think those devices are already displaying only portions of the web pages anyway.

As you see, most people have either 1280+ pixels or are on much smaller screen. Currently the site is designed to ~1000 pixel width which means it fits nicely in 1024 pixel resolutions. But those folks are only about 10% of our audience. So maybe I should target more like 1280 pixels and we’d have more room for statistics.

Screen Resolution from Google Analytics

1. 1366x768 20.00%
2. 1280x1024 10.85%
3. 1280x800 9.05%
4. 1920x1080 7.44%
5. 1024x768 7.17%
6. 320x480 5.05%
7. 1440x900 4.69%
8. 1024x600 3.92%
9. 1600x900 3.76%
10. 1680x1050 3.62%

sorry Steve but you are totally wrong if your stats are true! the most users (#1 & #2 = together one third) have at most 1024px width according to your stats. (dont forget users who have blocked any information)

better would still be player stat table consisting of a main stats table and a secondary/defensive-stats table OR just some tabs of stats in one table

I think its width x height, so only #5 & #8 are at 1024 pixel width. #6 - 320x480 must be some sort of smart phone device.
