admin Joined: 01/27/2010 Posts: 4985 Administrator | We can't really process waiver claims after Sept. 1st, because real time doesn't map linearly into game time. Hence a player cut just before Sept. 1st would be on the waiver wire for a few days in real time. However, that could place his waiver deadline sometime in late September game time. That's just too late to be adding players to the roster. What I have done is gotten ride of the gap were some players are released just before Sept. 1st, are available for claiming, but because their deadline is after Sept. 1st, they never get processed. In these cases, will wouldn't allow claims anymore. Steve |
