Fielding has nothing to do with stealing bases as CONDITIONING is a part of baseball i do agree you can trian a runner to do better. "BUT"Speed in this game the way it is does not improve or change often till player is 30+ old then he gets slower not faster very rare in this game does a player drafted with 17 speed pop in training and gain 18 speed.............................. |

The idea is to replace Offense with Hitting. And replace Defense with Conditioning. Conditioning would help with base running and fielding. Hitting would help with hitting. Pitching would help with pitching. The only real change would be to place base running under influence under Conditioning instead of Offense. @Wuggla - Sorry I can't follow you... I wasn't saying that baserunning should be under hitting, I am saying that it should NOT be under hitting. Updated Tuesday, May 10 2016 @ 2:49:32 pm PDT |

I was just looking at it from a game mechanic perspective and I think it would improve game balance if defense and base running fell under the same category. | ||
