DaveCool Joined: 02/28/2015 Posts: 141 Inactive	Some managers play backups in cup games so that the better players can rest and not get injured. It depends on if you actually want to try to win the Cup. I took it seriously last season and lost my two best young pitchers to extended injuries that probably cost me promotion and a league championship.

DaveCool Joined: 02/28/2015 Posts: 141 Inactive	Think hard about it because after just a casual look at your league and cup draw, you could be competitive in either one. You should choose soon, though, because the Cup competition begins immediately after spring training and every cup game is important if you want to take a shot. Also, all games count towards experience for your young players and the attendance is split between both teams so it will bring added income the farther you advance.
