This might make a difference of winning and losing the next games. I dont know what the solution would be, maybe an option to insert the backup in a certain gap. For example batter #3 gets injured i dont want the backup to play as #3 i have already chosen a slot for backup player, maybe #7-9 if he is weak at bat/on offense. And of course the other parts of the batting order would be rearranged. |

Should the substitute automatically be push to the 9th spot and all the other players move up? You probably don't want you #3 hitter sliding into the #2 spot, right? What the best algorithm for adjust the batting order? Thanks, Steve |

Maybe add three options: 1) the same old - backup fills the injured player's slot 2)the backup goes to #9 and others move up 3) AI order. I suppose the bot teams somehow create their lineups and batting orders. Right? |

The starting DH would C when the starter goes down |

In that case the substitute shall take the place of the replaced player in the batting order. |
