Butch Joined: 07/06/2014 Posts: 19 Inactive | To: All Cherry Hill Minor League Coaches FM: General Manager In my previous directive to each of your organizations I abolished the use of any gloves in the pitching cage. This was for a reason, as we are developing pitchers down there not fielders. Get those pitchers arms trained up and teach em how to duck. Training reports of pitching prospect development this season have been abysmal. Should you continue training down this improving pitchers fielding road, understand you are doing so at your own peril. Even though this directive is in the suggestion box, should it be necessary to make minor league coaching changes I assure you it won't be a suggestion. Come on boys, get em trained up right! |
