Well, I disagree with Steve.

There are only two possibilities. The first (and more likely, I hope) is that he is purposely trying to get people to respond to his new math. The other possibility is he's serious. If that is the case, he ignored the reasonable explanations of why he's wrong and still has the audacity to say he's smarter in math than everyone else. In my humble opinion that makes all slams thrown his way acceptable and, dare I say, appropriate.
