| Have a setting/option for starting pitchers to not bring in a closer. Just to be clear, this would be for individual starters, not the whole staff. This only applies to the starting pitcher; if a reliever is already in the game, he would still be replaced by the closer in save situations. I usually don't want to pull my best starter from the game until he's reached his maximum pitch count even if it is a save situation. I'd rather save my closer for the other games.
