| I'm here to provide a chat box into the game. I mean it isn't giving any in game advantages and it would liven up the activity of broken bat as well. If you''re a newcomer and you'rd wanting help immediately, the chat would be there to help you out. If you just want to talk about the game, or any real life events as well (hey opening day starting soon!) The chat box. would be there as well. Not saying this should be a spectacular state of the art chat, even just a mibbit would work here. I think it would be a positive thing going forward for the game. A major con of this would be that there is always the issue of spam. But if mibbit were implemented you could just ignore the guy which will make the chat less cluttered up. | Wow, great minds  I was just going to post about the IRC Channel I made for Broken bat on Rizon. This was the post I was writing:The Broken Bat Clubhouse Hey guys. For anyone who wants to shoot the sh...breeze in real time, I've set up an IRC channel on the Rizon server for Broken Bat players. For anybody not familiar with IRC, here's the Wikipedia entry for it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_Relay_Chat It does a pretty good job explaining it. If you don't already have an IRC client on your computer, I'd recommend using Mibbit https://www.mibbit.com/ as it isn't specific to any particular platform and just needs a browser to use. Here's an old, but good guide written for an online game called eRepublik that walks you through setting up and using Mibbit. | People can use Rizon's chat client as well if they don't like Mibbit. | Mibbit has a widget for websites: https://widgetmanager.mibbit.com/ That's the only one I'm familiar with, but there may be other IRC clients that offer something similar. |

| Hmmm...trying to figure out how see setup the initial IRQ chat channel. I think we'd be better served removing the space so its Broken_Bat_Clubhouse. Steve |
