No, no guys. Let Mig talk, his opinion is the ONLY one in the entire WORLD that matters. If all but one owner agree on something and he's the one, we must bow to his almighty will. We must embrace his socialist attitude that EVERYONE should be equal, no matter how much time they invest, just like in real life where those with PhDs earn just as much as those with GEDs.

No, no seriously now. The ONLY reason people suggest things in the ironically named "Suggestions" section is to take advantage of other teams. We all apologize, my Lord, for suggesting improvements which would improve the game that you, great one, do not approve. Let us keep this game the exact same forever, just like the rest of the world, unchanging forever.

Let's reward those who get on once every two months because they spend 20 minutes a YEAR on the website maintaining the league. How DARE we "take advantage" of those people.

I can play this all day long Mig. Mike did nothing wrong. I don't know the rest of Mike's background as you seem to, but I know for a fact he was not the one to instigate this. I know your history on this forum quite well, however. I find it ironic that you blamed Mike for changing his comment when you did the exact same thing, and changing a comment has absolutely nothing to do with the argument in the first place. By the way, if games have nothing to do with real life, why do the makers constantly try to make it more life like? Why do people always comment on the realism of the graphics in sports video games all the time? That is so illogical it borders on insane.

I'm not saying that you can't have an opinion, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But if you are not willing to respectfully argue on topics, keep your comments to yourself. I really hate to sink to this level, but if you want to play dirty, so be it. Someone eventually will have to fight back instead of taking a lashing from your double-edged sword. I anxiously await your reply.

Don't really see a huge benefit to the release of potential. I only have about 45 minutes to an hour to sift through guys on certain days, and i can get all the searching done without major issue in about 15 minutes if i dedicate it straight to this game.

The arguments in here are mostly hypocritical if you ask me. One guy seems to be interested in forcing the day traders or the people who make lots and lots of moves to not be able to find the talent they want to find that way. But this change has nothing much to impact that. Impacting the day traders would be changing the financials of the game, and i would take significant issue to any changes that hamper my ability to employ a different strategy than someone else.

On the other side, you have people who want to be able to out-effort those who don't have the time to play, eliminating the ability to play casually and do well. I see this as having the same problem as the first argument for the most part. People will inevitably be able to find players within such a short amount of time that day trading really has nothing to do with it. the Potential just means that they have to do less data collection, which requires a ctrl+C and ctrl+v into an excel spreadsheet, which took me about 1 hour to build real time the first time and as i said earlier takes me 15 minutes to update. What revealing potential will do is make my 15 minutes turn into 10 minutes, Oh noes! the top guy will have another 7-10 claims, and you will go from 1% to .4% chance to win that top end guy. World comes crashing down!

Honestly, save all the drama for a topic that actually has significant relevance on the way the game engine functions, not a search tool that is already semi-built by other users in the scouting network thread.

@Slug

I find it very interesting that someone who claims to only have logged only once in his previous account, knows my history in the forums quite well.

You’re still not telling the whole truth, are you? You’re still the same shady character, but you failed miserably to fool me.

You obviously came back to settle some score, and as always to support every shady suggestion that other shady characters like yourself are trying to pass as “improvements”, but your charade has already been found.

I already know who you are, but perhaps you want to tell the whole forum, unless you’re ashamed of your own history, and you should be, I might add.

Alright, can we all just walk away from this topic? Add the search feature and be done with it.

@FurySK

I wasnt really talking about the thread suggestion here. I was more discussing why mig has to put everyone who dares disagree with him down and (try) to make them look stupid. Its taken just 3 weeks on the forum for me to have enough of that crap. (Of course, he will say im a lying piece of s*** who is actually a former owner back for some sort of revenge or whatever his accusation was)

@Mig

I wil say before i begin that I was wrong about who instigated the arguement. I slacked just a bit on the research from the rest of this particular thread and didnt see mike's instigsting comment. I apologize about that.

Now, regarding the comment of me knowing your history, its really not all that difficult to do a little research. Really, all your posts you've ever made are still right here. All it takes is a little motivation. There is no better motivation than someone claiming you're a liar. Could you enlighten me on who i really am? You seem to know my history better than I.

Really, im fascinated by the the 'shady' comment you made, frequently repeating the word no doubt for a dramatic, rhetorical effect. Wise, repetition does help prove a point. What i love and is how you call someone shady and you know who i am. That absolutely cracks me up. I am exactly who I say I am. I appreciate the attempt to lower my ethos though and raise your own. (Another common rhetorical technique) However, can we add a bit more logos to this arguement? Yes? Good.

How on earth can you be sure I am who you think I am? Unless you hacked into my account and into my perceived equal's account and compared email addresses or something which would suggest that I was the same person, there is no possible way you can know. I am highly doubtful you have done this. Therefore, I am forced to conclude that you frankly do not know. This is another insanely illogical accusation which neither side can prove true or false. If no side can prove this, why bring it into the conversation? That is the million dollar question. To me, i sense either (a) that you are out of arguements, therefore, you must make wild accusations to keep up or (b) you don't make many strong arguments.The first one is kind of like the New York Yankees. When they know they are not going to be very good, they sign one or two expensive veterans to help them stay afloat and contend for the wild card. Similarly, when you sense a lack of viable arguments, you must claim that I am something I'm not in order to get people to believe you.

I will hand it to you though, (I'm not being sarcastic here) when you do not try to make others look stupid, you actually make fairly good arguments which are easy to follow and make sense. The problem is most of the time, you try to negate those who disagree with you by attempting to lower their ethos by claiming something like "He's just trying to take advantage of weaker mangers," or calling people "shady" simply because they hold opposite viewpoints. This is what i have a problem with. Please, can you just argue without putting others down.

If you were really who you say you are you would have already named your “old account” and have the number of logins made with that account revealed.

But, since you’re still the same dumb sad sod who can’t even pretend to be a newbie, you can’t do that, now can you?

Fair enough. Here you go. You can look it up for yourself if you don't believe me.

Out of curiosity, who did you think I was?

Guys...the decision on the direction for potential and the free agent search has been made. Let's see how the game progresses with it and if we need to make adjustments, we will.

Let's not try to make things personnel...there's not really much point to arguing further.

I WAS AGREE WHEN SOMEONE SAID THE SUGGESTION, BUT NOW ON SECOND THOUGHT I AM NOT SURE. I BELIEVE WILL BE MORE DIFFICULT SIGNING GOOD PROSPECTS BECAUSE NOW THEY WILL HAVE MUCH CLAIMS. THIS IS MY FIRTS SEASON AND I FOUND A LOT OF PROSPECTS 12-13 POT IN FREE AGENT OR IN WAIVERS WITH FEW CLAIMS.

Thanks for adding my suggestion even though it appears a little controversial. But it's good to know I helped contribute a bit and hopefully this new addition can help me in the off season
