I regularly see high skill pitchers with < 12 stamina regularly pitching 110-120 pitches and having no noticeable effect on their pitching in the later innings. I don't even really know what the difference between a 12 and a 17 is - as far as I can tell one fares slightly better around pitches 120-130 - highly unrealistic. Pitchers with average/low stamina should be having a hard time their second time through the lineup (pitches 50-90) and getting absolutely battered their third time through (90+). Food for thought.
