For those guys I would like to be able to have the option of keeping them in the game until they give up a baserunner, and then have them yanked immediately. Oh, and I almost forgot...I'm not sure if this one's too complicated or not, so I'm including it here. Managers seem to do a good job of pinch hitting for guys when it's a leftie-leftie, rightie-rightie match-up. Would it be possible to have the manager of the team on the field then counter like they do in real life by bringing in a reliever to thwart the pinch hitting attempt? (Obviously this couldn't occur until/unless the pitcher has already faced at least one batter.) Updated Saturday, December 6 2014 @ 10:07:57 pm PST |

Such as down by 10 in the fourth, toss this guy in and it doesnt matter what he gives up. Leave him in until he runs out of pitches to save the pen. I know the LR kinda does that now, but there are games where the lr pops in just because the starter tossed a lot of pitches or both teams gave up a lot of runs and it is still close. |
