Snookbone Joined: 05/23/2014 Posts: 49 Inactive | I was doing some research on the real-life place my team represents, and found the local ballpark (Fraser Field, home of the North Shore Navigators) in Lynn, MA, has two different surfaces - turf for the infield, grass for the outfield. This could create some interesting results, such as yielding more hits on ground balls that slow down if they beat the infielders. What do we think? |

From Fraser Field: The infield of historic Fraser Field is field turf while the outfield is natural grass. In late 2013, the existing artificial turf is scheduled to be replaced, and the new material will also include turfing all infield dirt areas except the mound.
