Yes
At the Low limit for Range, but the low arm makes him a 2b
If you have a better 2b already, he could play 1b, but Range would be kinda wasted there

He looks like a good 2B to me. Nice pick!

Thx. I had the feeling after seeing his arm, but the height didn't fit a 2B.

I don't think height plays a factor in this game. That would be a question for Steve.

How tall do you think a 2B needs to be? 6'0 is a little on the short side I suppose, but like Cactus said, I don't think it has any effect in this game.

I dunno, I don’t necessarily put a lot of stock in size. If you take a look at José Oquendo, he was a defensive phenomenon at 2B for the Cardinals in his heyday and he was only 5’10”. (Bonus trivia: You know that “The Secret Weapon” nickname? That was his nickname.)

Altuve? Pedroia? I'm certain Steve has said height and weight are cosmetic.

Anyway, I think he is jaw dropping amazing at 2B, even better if he can leverage that speed for some base stealing. 16 range is fine, especially if partnered with an 18+ SS.

Agreed with Seca on all counts. I'd be very pleased with a 2B like that.

16 seems to be more than enough range, I have had to many SS with less than that... Looks like a good pick up and I would guess he should gain range before he is through developing.
